Since the New Year has started and we are all being hopeful about it, I wanted to write about one of the most innovative tea that Brewed Leaf has come up with – Olive Tea. This tea adds a refreshing taste of fresh olives into your regular tea and makes you cherish it even more. But is that all? Of course not. This tea is also packed with various health benefits and I’m here to discuss the same with you guys. So without further delay, let’s dive into it, shall we?
Improves heart health:
Studies have shown that olive tea, just like olive leaf extract, can have positive effects on atherosclerosis, or in simple terms, a disease that causes the narrowing of arteries. This tea also controls your cholesterol levels and keeps your heart healthy.
Supports weight-loss:
Since many of us have already started making our New Year resolutions, I’m sure many of us want to lose weight this year. You’d be glad to know that consumption of olive tea can aid weight-loss. Studies have also proven that people who suffer from obesity will benefit from a regular consumption of olive tea.
Lowers blood pressure:
Since olive tea is great for your heart, it is a given that with the additional benefits of olive, this tea can also help you manage your blood pressure. Research has shown that consumption of olive tea can help lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure. You should also note that a lower blood pressure can reduce your risk of stroke and heart attack.
Treats type 2 diabetes:
Olive tea or olive extract consumption can improve insulin secretion in cells that will further lead to lower blood sugar levels. One human study found that people who took olive leaf extract tablets lowered their average blood sugar level and fasting plasma insulin levels.
